Morgan Berman works with nonprofits every day to help them think about their tech strategy in her role as CEO of MilkCrate. In this talk she will speak to how, as nonprofit professionals, we often rely on tools not because they’re the best or share our organizations’ values, but because they’re free and familiar. This is often the case when a nonprofit creates a group for volunteers or program participants in Facebook to be able to send updates and share content. There are shortcomings with this approach, some small and some much more serious, which we will review in this webinar.
