In a time and sector in which risk is inherent and uncertainty a constant, identifying and engaging with risk has never been more important for nonprofits. Not doing so undermines our sustainability along with the well being of the people we serve. In this session participants will gain an introduction to CRE’s definition of risk, discuss the six categories that provide a holistic view of risk, and learn how apply this risk assessment framework in their own work. In addition, current risk trends among nonprofits will be discussed.
