Funders continue to become more sophisticated in their work with nonprofit organizations. The days of looking at expenditures or outputs to prove operational effectiveness and impact are largely behind us. There now exists a larger emphasis on outcomes. What impact is your organization having both from a micro (the consumers you serve) and macro (community) perspective? Many organizations are having difficulty determining what criteria is appropriate to track, and how to effectively measure impact when hard metrics do not exist. This session explores the concept of social impact and provide some ideas on measuring impact and identifying the leverage of your operations.
