Founded in 1962, the agency offers a comprehensive continuum of services for individuals of all ages, including inclusive early childhood education, specialized autism programs, residential housing, and vocational training and employment assistance. By focusing on the philosophy of “Potential Made Possible,” Abilities First serves over 1,500 individuals and their families, fostering a culture of acceptance and dignity through person-centered planning and evidence-based clinical and behavioral supports. The William Davidson Institute (WDI) is an independent, non-profit research and educational organization affiliated with the University of Michigan that focuses on providing private-sector solutions in low- and middle-income countries. Capital Region Development Authority
The Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) is a quasi-public state agency based in Hartford, Connecticut, established to stimulate economic development and regional growth throughout the state’s capital city and its surrounding communities. By coordinating private and public investment, the CRDA oversees the construction and management of major venues, such as the Connecticut Convention Center and the XL Center, and spearheads large-scale residential and commercial revitalization projects.
