Catholic Charities Hawai’i (CCH) is a statewide non-profit social service organization that has been serving the people of Hawaiʻi since 1947. Rooted in the gospel of Jesus, its mission is to provide a wide range of social services with dignity and compassion to all people, especially those with the greatest need, regardless of their faith or culture. CCH aims to help individuals and families achieve self-sufficiency and build a community of hope through both direct programs and advocacy efforts. CCH has been a client of JMT since September 2024.
Mercy Housing and Shelter Corporation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing housing assistance and supportive services to individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, primarily serving the Greater Hartford and Middletown, Connecticut areas. Founded in the tradition of the Sisters of Mercy in 1983, the organization works to empower its clients to achieve independence and live with dignity and respect. Their programs offer a full spectrum of aid, including day shelters and soup kitchens (like The Friendship Center), transitional and permanent supportive housing, shelter diversion, and intensive case management to help clients access services, maintain stability, and advocate for systemic changes that address the roots of homelessness. They have been a client of JMT since May 2009.
Good+ Foundation is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to disrupting the cycle of poverty by providing practical goods and vital support services to low-income families in need. The foundation works primarily by partnering with a national network of social service agencies to distribute essential items—like cribs, clothing, car seats, and diapers—to parents who are simultaneously enrolling in job training, prenatal classes, parenting education, or other critical programs designed to build stability. By focusing on both the immediate material needs and the long-term educational and economic goals of parents, Good+ Foundation aims to help families achieve a better future for themselves and their children. They have been a client of JMT since December 2020.
Care for the Homeless (CFH) is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the medical, mental health, and social service needs of homeless individuals and families throughout New York City. Operating on the principle that healthcare is a right, not a privilege, CFH provides comprehensive services through a network of federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) located in shelters and community sites, as well as via mobile medical vans. The organization works to break down the complex barriers to care faced by the homeless population, offering services ranging from primary and preventative care to dental treatment, behavioral health support, and critical assistance in accessing housing and entitlement benefits. CFH has been a client of JMT since January 2009.
