Streamlined Fixed Assets Management in Intacct – SFAM & SIG FA

Thursday, October 23 | 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EST
Online Webinar

In this session, we will explore the Fixed Assets functionality in Sage Intacct, covering both the Sage Intacct Fixed Assets (SFAM) and the Sage Intacct General Ledger (SIG) modules. This session is designed for all knowledge levels—whether you’re currently using SIG, or you don’t have either module but are considering implementation. You’ll learn the core features of each module, including the components that drive depreciation, how to create asset records (with AP integration), post depreciation, and manage construction in progress (CIP). We’ll also highlight the key differences between the modules, helping you determine which is best suited for your needs. This session is ideal for those evaluating a switch from SIG to SFAM, as well as new hires or anyone needing a refresher on asset management and depreciation processes.

  • Comparative session between SIG and SFAM
  • What should they know before coming in – All knowledge levels geared towards those who have SIG or do not have either module but have the need to implement
  • What will they learn – Basic functionality of each module including: the components that drive depreciation, creation of asset records (AP integration), posting depreciation, and CIP; comparative differences between both modules
  • Why would it be important to them – The comparative nature of the session will help facilitate which module would be right for the client’s needs. For those with SIG, it will determine whether a switch to SFAM would not only be feasible but if it would be the right solution for them. With the basic process overview of each module, this would also be great for new hires or those who need a refresher on asset creation/depreciation posting
